it was a beautiful weekend during the royal wedding in london. besides the royal wedding, the highlight of the weekend was seeing kiera knightly on stage in the play, the children’s hour. and teatime in soho’s secret tea room. if you are headed to london and want to experience teatime for a reasonable price, i highly recommend this place as well! i believe it was 15 pounds for the afternoon tea choice.
you had to walk upstairs from this bar. it was quite “secret”.
afternoon tea includes three tiers of sandwiches, cake, cupcake and scones. a bit too much for me, it took 2+ hours to finish and even then, i couldn’t eat everything.
the scones are nothing like scones in america. they are ten times better! served warm and were light, moist and buttery inside!
raspberry vanilla cupcake. it was delicious but a bit sweet for me.
